Ahead of the 16th February presidential and National Assembly elections, President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday enjoined Imo State electorate to vote candidates of their choice, irrespective of political or religious inclination.
He said what should be uppermost in their consideration is continued unity, cohesion and corporate existence of the nation.
The President stated this at a one-day All Progressives Congress presidential campaign rally held in Owerri, the Imo State capital, which was attended by many chieftains of the party, including the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole; the ministers of Labour/Productivity and Transport, Chris Ngige and Rotimi Amaechi respectively.
Others are the former Senate President, Ken Nnamani; Governor Rochas Okorocha and the party’s governorship candidate in the state, Senator Hope Uzodimma, among others
