The Deputy Governor stated this at the end of the seventh edition of “Walk For Love” program organized by Family Love 103.9 FM Umuahia at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

He emphasized that one key way out of the increasing crime rate in the society is to fight against the use of hard drugs.

He added that the early morning exercise which aims to ensure that healthy Abia minds are in healthy bodies urged Abians to avail themselves of the opportunity to remain physically and mentally alert.

The Deputy Governor commended the organizers, Family Love 103.9 FM, for the program which he said has helped to further unite the people of the state.

Rt. Hon Oko Chukwu later announced the donation of a motorized mobility equipment to a physically challenged person who participated in the walk.
