French player, Kylian Mbappe has revealed, he intends to donate his earnings from playing for France in the 2018 World Cup to charity.
19-year-old Mbappe wants to donate his entire international match fees to charity, because he feels he should not be paid to represent his country, reports Mirror UK.
That amounts to £17,000-per-game ($22,455) (plus bonuses on top) and according to French daily L’Equipe , Mbappe is giving away the lot.
Mbappe is a patron of the Preiers de Cordees association, a charity which helps organise sports activities for children with disabilities.
It is understood he will be in line for a bumper bonus of £265,000 if France win the World Cup this summer.
And he has helped them well on their way to completing that goal – bagging two in the last-16 clash with Argentina.
